Registration - What's included with registration?

Registration entitles you to unlimited postings in all categories (Farm property, Farm Equipment, Livestock, Crops) as well as the farming forums. Registration is free and your personal information is kept confidential – the only information posted on the site or shared is the information you enter into your public ad postings or forums. The forums will display your user name next to any postings you make.

Contacting Sellers

How do I buy property, land, equipment, crops, or livestock? You cannot buy any property, products, or services directly through AmericanFarmExchange.com; however, you can use the information provided in the postings to contact the sellers. To contact a seller, simply click the 'View More Details' button next to the ad and on the next page click the ‘Contact Seller About This Item’ button.

How do I upload photos?

You must first be signed in to your account on AmericanFarmExchange.com, using your user name and password. You will be able to upload photos once you fill out the form for your posting. At the bottom of the ad posting form there will be an area for you to upload your photos. You can upload up to 10 photos per ad.

What are the size requirements for photos?

Photos must be no larger than 1MB each. If they are larger, you may see an error message.

How many photos can I have on my posting?

You can have up to 10 photos per posting.

Quick Start Sellers

Please register first, and you will be entitled to unlimited free ads in land, equipment, crops, livestock, and the jobs section. You can find these ads in your “My Account” page. If you wish to edit an ad, click on the “Edit Details” button to the right of the ad. Once an ad is ready to be posted, click on the “Run Ad” button to make the ad viewable on the site. Your free ads will expire 60 days after posting. At that point you can always go back and re-post them for another 60 days from inside your account.

I received spam – what can I do about it?

Let us know by sending us a message through the Contact Us page. We try to block any known spammers we may find on our site. However, make sure it’s not a legitimate inquiry first and then Contact Us if you are not sure.
